One of The Family Connection Foundation's programs is going through an exciting expansion that will better support disabled people and their families. One of the unique opportunities that have arisen for Bread For Life is working with those in the disabled community. In Thailand, there are limited and often no resources for those born with special needs. Children with disabilities are considered "less than" and regularly put up for adoption because of the social stigma as well as the limited resources families have to take care of them.
Bread for Life is partnering and looking to expand its relationship with those who are disabled and their families. One specific family, shown here, is helped monthly with feeding tubes, sanitation supplies, and the food needed for this young gal. Some of the necessary items are either not available or extremely expensive and must be imported from other countries. Bread for Life is a key component in making this happen. Additionally, Bread for Life maintains a relationship with the family, working hard to validate the choices and sacrifices the family makes to unconditionally love and provide for her.
The Bread For Life's team amazing work is one of many ways we are working to strengthen families in Thailand. Thank you you for partnering with us!
