Trees, Water & People (TWP) continues to push forward in Haiti, building inventory of its Zanmi Pye Bwa cookstoves and keeping 10 metalsmiths employed in the process. By the end of the year we hope to have a total of 2,500 units in circulation with the support of our partner International Lifeline Fund (ILF), including 100 2-burner cookstoves – an innovation that will be market-tested in the coming months. As we enter 2012, we will continue to seek funding to scale up our manufacturing and improve our product and outreach activities.
For this project update, we are excited to share our new Haiti Clean Cookstove video with you! Please click the video link below and enjoy the show.
Help us reach thousands more families by donating to the Zanmi Pye Bwa Cookstove project today! A small donation goes a VERY long way.
