Dear Amazing Leadership Initiatives and Respective Donors,
Because of your generous donations, individuals and communities throughout Bauchi State will be able to forge the connections necessary to solve local problems using existing community resources. This will create a new generation of innovative, resourceful leaders poised to catapult their neighborhoods, regions, and nations forward. Donor contributions make it possible to provide promising individuals with entrepreneurial, leadership and project management training. These young leaders then identify obstacles to development within their own communities, design workable solutions, and create sustainable business models to overcome those obstacles. Leadership Initiatives partners with local government and business leaders to renew democracies on a grassroots level by cultivating self-reliant leadership. Lastly, Leadership Initiatives approaches the problems of underdevelopment by empowering communities to address their own needs, which will and eventually aid in making Nigeria a stronger and more democratic nation.
Our students create novel solutions firmly grounded in principles of social entrepreneurship. We have previously created in Bauchi, Nigeria businesses in: fish farming, welding, tailoring, motorcycle repair & computer education with job placement. Currently this project will help Deborah’s restaurant and her goal to increase business through new advertisements.
Leadership Initiatives will be regularly providing updates and insight into the restaurant and this team's project as the months progress through GlobalGiving's reporting program. Of course, at any time you can request a project update to learn up to date info on how this project is progressing.
As a supporter of “Stony Point High School Fighting for a Change”, Leadership Initiatives would love to have you involved if you ever want to help grow our programs, learn of ways you can participate or have new ideas on how this team could best help this restaurant. Please contact Executive Director Marshall Bailly at mbailly@lichange.org or the project leader themselves (Kacy) at kacyalmartin@gmail.com. If you have any suggestions, questions, or comments! Your hard work and support is the greatest gift we could receive as we attempt to create a better world.
Thank you once again from the bottom of everyone's heart here at Leadership Initiatives. If you would ever like to speak to our staff in Nigeria or this specific project leader, we would love to communicate with you so you can personally see the change you are creating.
Wishing you, your family and your friends the absolute best!
Sincerely,
Leadership Initiatives
