In Q1 we have been doing our visibility studies in Ho West inner communties to start out new project in 2020. We have found the following communities who are wanting to welcome us with out project.
Tsawenu
Anyirawase
Tsito
Amedzofe
Vane
Dzogbefeme
Dzologbogame
Dzolo-kpuita
In these communities, 10 schools will become GGG locations for our weekly girl group meetings with the support of the teachers, 18 teachers have pledges to become our volunteers and lead those meetings.
In the Heath Centres of Tsito and Amedzofe we found 4 nurses wanting to support us with home visitation and health programming.
Teen pregnancy rate in % in these communities lie around 20% which is extremely high and is something GGG will want to look into changing.
Unfortunately at the end of our studies, Corona broke out and we came ot a stand still, hopefully starting again in Q320
