Dear Supporter,
Yaser, now in his forties, was forcibly displaced from Homs and is currently living in northern rural Aleppo with his wife and young daughter.
Born with a congenital lower-limb deformity, Yaser spent much of his life facing severe mobility challenges. Finding stable work was difficult, and the stigma surrounding disability created even more barriers.
But Yaser refused to give up on his future.
He enrolled in university with one goal in mind: to complete his education, find stable employment, and provide a dignified life for his family.
Yet even attending classes became a daily struggle. Moving independently was difficult, and he often needed help just to get from one place to another.
That changed when the prosthetic center in Al-Bab, operated by NSPPL, provided Yaser with a new prosthetic limb.
For the first time, he could walk more independently.
He could reach university more easily.
He could search for work with greater confidence.
And he could move closer to the future he had worked so hard for.
Your support helped make this transformation possible.
Yaser’s first independent steps were more than a medical achievement — they represented freedom, dignity, and a renewed chance to build a better life for his family.
Today, Yaser is moving forward with new hope. But many other people living with disabilities are still waiting for the prosthetic devices and rehabilitation support that could transform their lives.
Thank you for helping people like Yaser regain mobility, independence, and the opportunity to pursue their dreams.
