Dear Supporter,
We are thrilled to share the story of one of our most impactful interventions through the custom WHO (Wrist Hand Orthotics) device—an innovation that NSPPL proudly crafts and provides to patients in northern Syria.
Recently, we had the honor of welcoming Ms. Arifa, a resilient 60-year-old woman from Afrin, to our NSPPL center. She had been struggling with right-hand drop due to a stroke. After thorough evaluation, our team swiftly designed and fitted a specialized WHO orthotic device tailored to her condition.
This device is more than a medical aid—it’s a bridge to independence. With continued use, Ms. Arifa is on a promising path to regain full mobility in her hand, allowing her to reclaim her autonomy and daily function.
Stories like hers are made possible by the generosity of people like you. Your support helps us deliver life-changing solutions to those facing the challenges of neurological injury and disability. As we continue to respond to such critical needs, we are reminded of the ongoing importance of sustainable giving.
Thank you for being part of this journey of healing and hope.
Warm regards,
