By Becca Emerson | Anti-Trafficking Coordinator
Hello to our amazing donors!
We have had a very busy quarter. At Fair Haven, April is always such a great month—Sexual Assault Awareness Month! Our Anti-Trafficking Coordinator and the staff of Fair Haven have been out in our community raising awareness of our services and how we are here to do what we do best—Be The Light to every single survivor!
This past month, our Anti-Trafficking Coordinator, Becca and our victim advocate Kyle spoke on a panel at Indiana University Northwest about the process of reporting sexual crimes in Lake County. Becca spoke on WLTH Radio spreading awareness about our programs as well. We have also been blessed to be apart of Ascent 121’s Build Beyond Conference, which has allowed our Anti-Trafficking staff to gain further knowledge on familial trafficking, and the red flags to look for to help identify the problem.
We are still working toward our goals of Long-Term Sustainable Living for our survivors, and every dollar counts. We appreciate your continued support, and can’t wait to share the next update with you all!
