Hello,
We would like to share an important update regarding our Stand With Syria's Most Vulnerable Flood Survivors project.
The project was created in response to the severe flooding that affected vulnerable communities along the Euphrates River, particularly in Raqqa and Deir Ezzor. Our intention was to help families facing urgent needs such as food, clean water, hygiene supplies, shelter assistance, and emergency support.
The project did not receive any donations through GlobalGiving during its campaign period.
As the emergency response has evolved and our current priorities have changed, we have decided to move forward with closing this project on GlobalGiving and focusing our efforts on other humanitarian priorities where our resources and fundraising activities can have a greater impact.
We are grateful to everyone who took the time to learn about the situation and consider supporting families affected by the floods.
Although this particular project will be closed, our commitment to supporting vulnerable communities in Syria remains.
Thank you for standing with Yasmen and for caring about families affected by humanitarian crises in Syria.
