With the New Year comes new hope. Since 2023, our generous donors have helped provide hope in the form of supportive and compassionate care to those facing cancer diagnosis or other life-limiting illness in Northern and Eastern provinces.
The two-year-long, socio-economic crisis in Sri Lanka has made receiving cancer treatment and much-needed palliative care very difficult for many patients.
For those facing life-limiting illness, access to treatment has often meant making difficult choices – prioritizing family needs over urgently needed care. And getting care has been further complicated as our partner organizations have faced shortages of medicine and surgical supplies.
Thanks to our generous donors, our partner organizations have had the ability to maintain those necessary supplies. It means those in need are receiving supportive and compassionate care.
Thank you from all of us at Two Worlds Cancer Collaboration, our partner organizations in Sri Lanka, and the patients they care for!
