Today we are going to share a story on how your compassion has touched one individual in Sri Lanka – a country of more than 22 million.
Patu (a pseudonym) lives in Jaffna and through life circumstance he lives with his sister’s family following his wife’s passing. He has lived with polio since childhood. Recently, Patu received a cancer diagnosis – a sarcoma in his thigh.
Through the economic and social turmoil this year, he and his sister’s family have relied on this Emergency Aid Fund to help meet his medical needs including a new mobility device through our partner organizations.
Patu is incredibly thankful for your support and that of our medical community partners in Sri Lanka.
Through your generous donations children and adults, like Patu, can have access to needed pain medication and essential medical supplies.
You are helping ease the suffering of those in need of such essential care.
