Sports for children with disabilities in Bosnia

Dragi donatoru,

Još jednom Vam se zahvaljujemo na podršci koju ste pruzili našoj školi!

Uz Vašu pomoc, tokom prva tri mjeseca od dobijanja sredstava od GlobalGiving kampanje, odrzali smo 28 redovnih treninga, na kojima je ucestvovalo blizu 40-oro naših clanova, djece i odraslih sa poteškocama u razvoju. Tokom ovog perioda na iznajmljivanje fiskulturne sale, ljudske resurse, rekvizite i druge troškove utrošeno je oko 15% finansijskih sredstava prikupljenih tokom kampanje. To znaci da ce ostatak sredstava biti potrošen u narednom periodu, a pored redovnih treninga planirano je organizovanje i drugih aktivnosti.

Neke od planiranih aktivnosti su: 

• Izleti i kamp za naše sportiste,
• Odlasci na takmicenja,
• Uvoenje MAT programa (Trening motornih aktivnosti) koji je posebno stvoren od strane Specijalne olimpijade za trening i takmicenje sportista koji zbog svojih vještina ili funkcionalnih sposobnosti nisu u mogucnosti da se bave drugim sportovima.

Nadamo se da cemo ove godine nastaviti da napredujemo i da ce naši sportisti biti još bolji i zdraviji. Trudicemo se da ostvarimo naše ciljeve i nastavicemo da Vas obaviještavamo!

Dear donor,

We would like to thank You once again for your support to our School.

With Your help, in first three months since disbursments from the GlobalGiving campaign, we held 28 trainings. Nearly 40 members, children and adults with developmental disabilities, took part in these trainings. During this period, around 15% of financial resources raised during the campaign were spent on lease of sports hall, staff, new equipment and other related expenses. This means that the rest of the resources will be spent in the coming period and besides regular sports trainings we plan to organize other important activities.

Some of the planned activities include:

• Trips and camps for athletes
• Participating in competitions
• Implementing MAT (Motor Activity Training) Programme which is specially designed by Special Olympics for training of athletes who, due to their skills or functional issues, can not participate in other sports

We hope to continue to grow and improve in this year and that our special athletes will become better and healthier. We will give our best to reach our objectives and keep You updated!
