Earlier this month, we realised how quickly the walls of the centre were getting dirty. This was due to the fact that children were not washing their hands after school before coming to the centre.
Thanks to your donations so far we were able to provide a face lift for our walls with new colours and also made available a sink for the children to wash their hand before allowed at the facility, especially the library.
Furthermore, we were grateful for receiving 5 boxes of books from the World Bank and a printer, as well a 30 net books through our dear friend Ms Karen Jones in the U to enhance our activities at the lbrary.
The center continuous to receive praises and publicty while serving the needs and occupyng the time of the children from the community in a positive way.
We are looking forward to the next step of the facility which includes building toilets and showers at the centre as the majority of the people in Jamestown do not have access to indoor sanitation or running water.
Thank you in advance for your continuing support.
