STAFF’S SERVICE TO THE CHILDREN
Another Hope Children’s Ministries (AHCM), envisions an improved quality of life for the children. It has done this through the availability of consistent, caring and diligent staff which includes Directors, caretakers, social workers, administrators, education officers, among others. The social service workforce can be broadly defined as a variety of workers-paid and unpaid. These child advocates work at multiple levels of the system and work across different sectors such as Health, Education, and Justice to provide more integrated, comprehensive services. Services include family support and early intervention, child education, child protection to address abuse and neglect, and alternative care for children separated from their family of origin. Their tireless presence and quick response to these children’s needs has created an enormous change in all aspects of the children’s lives.Their health has greatly improved, they have become enlightened, and they now possess a strong sense of autonomy since they’re self-esteem has grown. Importantly, the sponsorship that comes from our kind-hearted and generous sponsors helps us hire workers that aid in reaching the above services to the children.
Your sponsorship helps these children have a sustainable life.
Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. It also includes having access to drinking water, healthy foods and beverages, clean and safe environment, appropriate clothes, healthcare, mental stimulation, access to the outdoors, and loving relationships.
Beneficiaries telling their story
I am very excited and overjoyed by the Christmas package delivered to me by AHCM staff. This has showed great love between our sponsors and us that they thought of us and sent us such gifts in order to pass through the Christmas festival happily with our families. I thank our dear sponsors and Directors plus the staff for caring for us
I am one of the young girls and among the luckiest who got an opportunity of being added to the AHCM scholarship program. I had lost hope of going back to school because my mother is jobless since one of her hands was amputated after a fire accident. She didn’t have any hope of getting money again to take me to school, and I was saddened by the fact that most of my mates were going back to school and I was at home. I am very grateful for this new opportunity granted to me. AHCM has provided for my scholastic materials and tuition. This is a great chance for me to study and complete. I thank our dear sponsors and Directors plus the staff for their efforts for this to work out.
