President Andrew completed the Sponsored Walk in aid of the Sierra Leone Sickle Cell charity. Thanks to everyone's wonderful sponsorship donations President Andrew raised £4000 for medical research into and management of sickle cell disease.
This is a terrible disease that affects many people across the globe, as well as in Africa. Your fantastic support will aid relieving people's suffering and aid the finding of a possible cure and or preventative medication.
Edgware and Stanmore Rotary Club wants to thank you all for your support of this much deserving charity. We also wish to thank President Andrew for his commitment to the cause and effort in organising, carrying out and promoting his sponsored walk.
