 "Sponsoring the Education of 50 Children of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Yorosso, Mali"

 Dear Donors and GlobalGiving Team,

Thanks to your generosity, our project "Sponsoring the Education of 50 Children of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Yorosso, Mali" has taken a concrete first step. We recently received an initial disbursement of USD 21.25. With this amount, we immediately took steps to address the urgent needs of the four displaced children at the Mangnoko Sanou School in Yorosso.

 Each child received their first school kit, including:

•  1 notebook
• 1 backpack
• 2 pens
• 1 colored pencil
• 1 reading book

These supplies allow them to continue their school year and actively participate in their lessons. The children and their parents were delighted to receive this support.

One of the beneficiaries, an 8-year-old girl named Salimata xxx, expressed her joy, saying, "Before, I didn't have a notebook to write in class, and when it was time to read, I would go to my classmates so we could keep up with their books. Now, I can do everything like my other classmates."

This initial support is a glimmer of hope for these families who have lost everything fleeing conflict and violence from armed terrorist groups.

GRAFEM remains committed to pursuing its mission and achieving its goal of sponsoring 50 displaced children throughout the school year. Every contribution, however small, has a real and immediate impact on the lives of these vulnerable children.
