We are pleased to report a significant advancement in our operational capacity in Chile, directly impacting the number of burned children we can treat. This period marks the start of a major expansion for our treatment center in Concepción, made possible through a generous sponsorship from Aramco. This vital support will allow us to modernize and increase the physical capacity of the center, ensuring that thousands of burned children in the region continue to receive our specialized, life-changing care completely free of charge. This infrastructure investment is a testament to the global commitment to our mission.
Simultaneously, the Coaniquem Burned Children Foundation team here in the states, along with our team from Chile, has amplified our outreach and fundraising capacity through successful visits to key cities. In Miami, we announced the strategic opening of our Miami Foundation account, a significant step that will open doors to new philanthropists in Florida. Furthermore, a successful trip to Seattle resulted in valuable collaborations, including an engagement at the Microsoft headquarters for their employee give-back campaign and a successful point-of-entry event with Brighton Jones Wealth Management. These strategic engagements are crucial for building the diverse and robust community of support needed to sustain our international work.
