Kucetekela Foundation (KF) provides a five year scholarship program for impoverished youths in Zambia. By donating to this project, you will help provide for Francine's various needs as she continues working hard to complete her secondary schooling at Chalo Trust School. As Francine works on completing school, she also improves her community through various service intiatives.
Education in Zambia is one of the greatest challenges facing young Zambians. Many Zambian children do not receive a high school education because of the prohibitive costs, leading to a staggering dropout rate after Grade 7. KF provides high quality scholarships to impoverished Zambian boys and girls, empowering them to break the cycle of poverty from which they come, achieve their dreams, and be successful in life. KF enables our students to become Zambia's next leaders and role models.
The Kucetekela Foundation provides scholarships to impoverished but promising young Zambian boys and girls to attend high quality high schools from Grade 8 through Grade 12 in Lusaka, Zambia. By investing in Zambia's children, we are investing in the future of the country. We provide our students with a chance to change their lives and the lives of others in their country through a great education and by participating in community service projects, work internships, and mentorship.
Supporting Francine will help her obtain a quality education through Grade 12, empowering her to achieve her career goals and to assist her family and community. She has already begun to improve aspects of her community through service initiatives. In addition, she hopes to pursue a career in a medical field in order to help strengthen the medical infrastructure in Zambia.
