This project plans to give 300 mexican vulnerable children a free community musical education during the COVID-19 contingency in the middle area of San Luis Potosi, Mexico. We will give them virtual classes with professional personal in places where violence, drug traffic, alcoholism, and other social problems are.
Our fundraising strategies are focused on the production of events, presentations and concerts, but all of them where prohibited by the COVID-19 pandemic. The cancellation of these events represented 50% losses. This means great difficulty in following community music education for children and adolescents from 7 to 17 years of age in vulnerable municipalities of San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
Since students attended 4 hours a day, 5 days a week, it is important to continue creating spaces where they can maintain learning, using their time in activities that nurture their mind and spirit. This project will ensure that 300 students can continue to maintain virtual classes and containment support throughout the duration of the pandemic.
This project will guarantee the community music education of 600 boys, girls and adolescents throughout the state of Potosi once the difficult situation we are experiencing has ended.
