Request for Caleb's participation in the convention

By James Malinga | Project leader

Dear Esteemed Donors,

We sincerely extend our heartfelt gratitude for your generous support toward Caleb’s education as a Mechanical Engineering student under the ACE curriculum. Your commitment has not only enabled his academic growth but has also equipped him with practical engineering skills that are already bearing fruit through his innovative work and technical development.

Because of your investment, Caleb has successfully developed engineering concepts and innovations that reflect the quality of training he is receiving. He has now been presented with a valuable opportunity to attend the August 2026 Rwanda Engineering and Innovation Convention, where he is expected to showcase his innovation before fellow engineers, industry experts, investors, and members of the diaspora community.

This convention is of great importance because it will provide Caleb with:

  • A platform to present and validate his innovation at an international level
  • Exposure to professional networks, mentors, and potential investors
  • Opportunities for collaboration with fellow innovators and engineers
  • Increased visibility for the ACE curriculum through his representation
  • Practical experience that will significantly strengthen his professional development

Attendance at this convention could open doors for future partnerships, funding opportunities for his innovation, internships, and possible industrial implementation of his project.

Missing this year’s convention would mean losing a timely opportunity for exposure and growth. It could delay critical feedback, networking connections, and possible advancement of his innovation. Since such conventions bring together key stakeholders only periodically, absence this year may postpone his progress and visibility within the engineering community.

To make this possible, Caleb requires $650, which will cover:

  • Round-trip transportation to Rwanda
  • Accommodation and meals for one week
  • Local transport and upkeep while attending with colleagues
  • Convention participation-related expenses

We humbly appeal for your continued support to help Caleb seize this important opportunity. Your contribution will not only enable his participation but will also advance the impact of the education and innovation you have already helped make possible.

Thank you once again for believing in Caleb’s future and for investing in the development of the next generation of engineers.

With sincere appreciation,
