Education Is Changing Lives
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, our scholarship campaign has been successful, allowing us to provide educational assistance to students at Los Algarrobos School whose families are facing serious financial challenges. Currently, 29 students are receiving scholarship assistance. Their parents may be unemployed, unable to find steady work, or simply not earning enough to meet the basic needs of their families while also paying for their children’s education.
We believe it is extremely important that scholarship assistance reaches the students who truly need it most. For these children, education represents much more than attending school—it provides opportunity, stability, and hope for a better future. By helping a child remain in school and receive a quality education, our donors are helping create opportunities that can affect that student for a lifetime.
The James Dean Byrd Foundation is now focusing its efforts on scholarships and will continue seeking ways to provide educational assistance to students in need. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has supported this project. Your generosity is making it possible for children to continue their education and is helping us fulfill our belief that investing in a child’s education is an investment in the community and the world.
