Habib is an active 60 year whose journey towards recovery began with a thorough check up and diagnosis of Hepatitis at the SHINE Humanity Clinic in Gharo. Through his treatment, Muhammad learnt about the complexity of Hepatitis and its impact on the body, as the staff did not just focus on treating the disease, but also on addressing his overall well-being.
Over the next few months, Muhammad received the necessary medication and also critical hepatitis B vaccinations to protect his health in the long term. The holistic support given to him was a source of comfort and empowerment for Muhammad, who as the sole breadwinner of his family, had experienced significant anxiety when he received a positive Hep C. diagnosis.
Through the efforts of SHINE Humanity’s Gharo clinic, Muhammad was given the chance to reclaim his life and continue to support his family. His journey serves as an inspiring reminder of how effective, compassionate care can change lives.
SHINE Humanity's Hepatitis Program provides screening services to approximtately 1,000 patients per month, by providing vaccinations and treatment. Your donations enable us to continue with our camps and drives, we aim to eliminate the disease in rural Sindh.
