Hello everyone,
Thanks to all your generous contributions we were recently able to purchase a muscle stimulator for those children in need of physiotherapy. The stimulator provides a mild electrical current to stimulate nerve endings, with the aim of reversing the damage to a child's nervous system. It helps those children who have issues with muscle spasticity, improves their motor functions, and enables improvement in voluntary movement. Effectively, this form of physical therapy improves their quality of life.
We also purchased a variety of books and toys for the children to help them learn alphabets and numbers, and recognise shapes through storytelling and with the aid of wooden blocks, index cards, and jigsaw puzzles.
We are in the process of purchasing a projector and screen for the audio-visual room, and will post an update on this and activities related to it in our next report.
Thank you once again for all your support!
