Hello Wonderful Friends!
Romania Animal Rescue is working to get as many spays and neuters done as possible prior to the harsh Romanian winter. We use 4 means of help for the animals:
1. Spay and neuter at the Center of Hope (Bucharest) and Family Vet (Craiova) clinics
2. Spay and neuter on mobile campaigns with our red van and vets/techs setting up a sterilization suite on location
3. Spay and neuter with our mobile spaymobile "HOPE" that reaches smaller yards and communities
4. Spay and neuter using the Spay Shuttle that travels to the cats locations and takes them to the Center of Hope for spay and neuter, then returns them home after recovery.
All these methods help us to reach more and more cats. The only draw back we have is the problem of funding the cost of spays/nneuters. Each spay or neuter is $25, or £19, or 23 Euro. A small price to pay for saving thousands and thousands of kittens from being born.
Please consider helping us with our ongoing and upcoming projects. Thank you very much.
I have included in the photos a campaign ad for a program that we still need funds for more cats spays. The word "pisica" means cat in Romanian. The more funding we can get, the more cats we will be able to spay for this project and all the others.
Thank you friends!
