Expanded Services Mean New Opportunities

Learning about cooking at SPARC
Learning about cooking at SPARC

We are soon taking over a space that will eventually be a fantastic way for our team to help people with disabilities learn how to find and keep employment.

Watching someone's face when they realize that they can be more self-sustaining and able to provide for their needs is awe-inspiring.

Our new space is unfurnished and was donated as-is.

A gift is a gift, and we are forever grateful, but we need the following items:

  • Kitchen cooking supplies--to learn independent life skills (cooking, in this case)
  • Office furniture -- desks and filing cabinets are big needs
  • Accessible tables -- Wheelchair accessible tables so participants can eat and work
  • Accessible bathroom equipment

and so many more things like paint and a sign for the door.

You will help an adult with disabilities learn how to do even more in their daily lives with a generous gift today.

Many of us don't think much about the 6 Activities of Daily Living, but the ability to dress or bathe yourself can frame how you feel about yourself. So too is the ability to participate in your community regardless of how much you may work in a job.

Please help us today as we transition our facilities.
