Since February, the Acessa Trabalho! project has positively impacted the lives of socially vulnerable teenagers and young people in Barueri. During this period, 40 young people participated in workshops designed to prepare them for the world of work, covering topics such as IT skills, oral and written communication, CV preparation, writing, and mock interviews. We also held discussions on social rights and life planning, strengthening each participant’s autonomy and self-esteem.
Volunteer involvement has been a fundamental pillar of the project’s success. Between March and June, 38 volunteers generously shared their time and expertise through activities such as company visits, career workshops, and Excel training sessions. These experiences broadened the youths’ understanding of the job market and fostered real connections with professionals from diverse fields.
One inspiring story is that of Milena, a communicative and dedicated young woman who has always sought ways to develop her skills. Upon joining Acessa Trabalho!, she actively engaged in the workshops and showed great eagerness to learn. Thanks to her dedication and performance, she was recommended for a selection process and is now employed as a young apprentice—an important milestone in her professional journey. Like Milena, seven participants from this cycle are now working as young apprentices, taking their first steps toward long-term employment and financial independence.
We move forward with enthusiasm and commitment, grateful to every donor who makes this journey of transformation possible. Your support opens real pathways to a brighter future for these young people.
