Thanks to our donors, the first $300 of our $94,000 goal is already at work. It covered part of our tutor's fees and coaches' facilitation sessions, helping 12 Soweto high-performance players with English support and bringing weekly sports and life skills sessions to 412 learners at Gazankulu and Hitekani Primary Schools, including 25 girls in GIRLS CAN. Six Soweto players qualified for Gauteng Interprovincial teams, and Savata is ranked 9th in South Africa's U16 Top 10. We also launched a Buddy group so every player has a caring adult. Thank you for believing in Soweto's children. Next: renovating our courts.
