At Egoli Squash Youth Empowerment, we have spent a decade proving sport changes lives in Soweto. Now we are building something permanent. Thousands of children here have nowhere to play, learn, or grow. Your donation transforms Gazankulu Primary School into Soweto's first Community Squash, Padel and Action Football Centre , serving 600 youth weekly. Savata lost his mother at two. Today he represents Gauteng Province nationally. That is what opportunity does. Help us build this space.
In Chiawelo, Soweto, over 22,000 people live in just 1.96 km. Poverty and unemployment are daily realities. Children have no safe, structured space to play, learn, or develop skills. Egoli Squash Youth Empowerment has served this community for over a decade, but our courts are deteriorating and our outdoor space sits unused. Without this project, hundreds of youth lose their only pathway to education, sport, and economic opportunity.
Egoli Squash Youth Empowerment will transform Gazankulu Primary School into Soweto's first Community Squash, Padel and Action Football Centre. We will renovate two indoor courts, build a multi-sport outdoor facility, establish a Digital Access Zone, expand our Urban Farming Centre, and create an Entrepreneurial Skills Hub. This gives 600 youth weekly access to sport, education, digital skills, and real employment pathways - all in one permanent community-owned facility.
This centre will outlast any single donation. Once built, it becomes a permanent community asset - owned and operated by Soweto residents. Youth employed today become tomorrow's coaches, entrepreneurs, and mentors. Schools and community organisations gain a facility they can rely on for generations. Every young person who walks through these courts carries forward skills, confidence, and opportunity - multiplying impact far beyond what any budget line can measure.
