Living near the frontline often means sitting in darkness for days or even weeks at a time.
Recently, our team delivered a Solar Energy Resilience Kit to an elderly woman and her family who have been enduring constant outages and difficult conditions. Before this, their home would go completely dark—no light, no way to charge a phone, no connection to the outside world. Now, they have light again. They can charge essential devices, stay in touch, and feel a sense of safety in their own home. For families like hers, this is more than electricity—it is dignity, stability, and a small return to normal life.
We also met a mother of three living in a village where power lines were destroyed months ago. She shared how her children used to sit in complete darkness each night, frightened by the silence and uncertainty around them. There were no lights for reading, no comfort after sunset. Today, their home is filled with light again. Something as simple as a lamp has brought peace back into their evenings and a sense of security for her children.
Each solar kit we deliver does more than provide power—it restores a sense of control and hope for families living through incredibly difficult conditions. Our team continues working to reach more households who are still waiting in the dark.
