Since the beggining of March 2015, Tanzsolar has become most fortunate to be able to install an additional 10 LED lighting systems with phone charging in Rorya and Serengeti Districts Mara region. We must also give thanks to SIMU SOLAR LTD for providing and assisting with the installation of one of their 4 light LED phone charging systems in a health dispensary in Rorya district . This contribution has enabled Tanzsolar to complete the health dispensaries that were requested to be completed by the Rorya District medical team. In addition Tanzsolar has been able to start the process of installing two more systems in remote areas of Rorya disctrict. Also Tanzsolar is installing 4 more LED systems in Serengeti Districts and two more systems in Mkulanga district in coast region. The total solar LED systems that are installed in Mara and Coast regions todate are 22. There are 50 rural dispensaries and health centres in Mara and Coast regions that are still in need of acquiring solar lighting and phone charging in mara and coast Regions. Tanzsolar is comitted to try to raise additional funds so that our goal for providing solar lighting for all health centres and dispensaries without lighting will be completed.
Tanzsolar has also been able to provide 12 rural household with the smaller 3 light LED systems by using a payment purchase plan with discounts to rural households. Any assistance from our supportes for completion of this effort will be grately appreciated.
