Dear Donors,
We are hopeful that this festive season of December 2024, found every one of you well and in good health. We also wish everyone a blessed forthcoming Happy New Year of 2025!
Schools in Kenya closed in late October 2024 paving way for National exams to take place. That is; Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) examinations. The closure of schools in late October, 2024 has resulted to a long holiday break of approximately 9 weeks which stretches to 6th January, 2025 when schools shall re-open. Upon re-opening of schools, Tana River Life Foundation field team shall re-visit some of the beneficiary schools to gauge on the impact of the donated lanterns to the students which shall be determined through academic performance in the national exams upon release of the results shortly after schools open. Additionally, we shall reach out to assist more schools located in the interior of the Tana Delta.
We are indebted and ever grateful to all donors for the continued support to the students of Tana Delta, Kenya through their generous aid of Solar Lanterns. God bless.
