Dear Donors,
Receive our greetings from Tana Delta Kenya. We hope that this newsletter reaches you well and in good health.
Tana River Life Foundation (TRLF) team is delighted to report on a positive impact harnessed by the solar lanterns to assisted schools in the Tana Delta during 2022 National exams. It is impressive that efforts geared towards this noble course has borne fruits to the unprivileged students in the interior schools.
TRLF team met with the Head teacher for Kibokoni Pr. school; Mr. Enos, whom he expressed his bliss and gratitude towards the support given to his students in 2022. In his words, “I’m thankful for your support to our students, when in class 7. I am happy and confident to report to you that they’ve made a tremendous improvement in their academic performance from a mean score of 202.2 marks in Class 7 to 247.09 mean marks in their National Exams!.” An improvement by a margin of +45.09 marks! In addition,15 years old 2023 candidate Yasin narrated that; “…being a beneficiary of the solar lantern, I use it for night studies together with my younger siblings to improve on our academic performance. As a result, we are all looking forward to improving in our academics.”
Lastly, TRLF is thankful to all Donors for their sacrifice and tireless efforts towards supporting students from the Tana Delta, Kenya with solar lanterns to better their academic performances. God bless.
