Dear Friends,
Happy New Year 2023! We are hopeful that this newsletter from Tana Delta Kenya, reaches each and everyone of you well and in good health.
We are blissful to inform that one of our Solar Lanterns beneficiary Buya Keyhodos Komora has sat for his Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education – a national exam and he’s confidently hoping for the best when the results are released. In his words; “the lantern has been of great help to me. It helped me score to 263 marks while in primary school, hence thereafter smoothly transited to Marifano Secondary school, and in God’s will, I hope to score a C (plain) when the results are released.”
This year of 2023, Tana River Life Foundation (TRLF) is looking forward to reaching out to more students in the interior of Tana Delta. Upon opening of schools from 30th January, 2023; TRLF shall visit Kone Primary school located in the interior where there’s totally no infrastructure in terms of connection to the national electric grid, prone to extreme dryness et cetera.
In a nutshell, TRLF is grateful to all Donors for journeying with us in helping to bridge the education gap of the underprivileged students located in the interior parts of Tana Delta, Kenya. God bless.
