My name is Mariatu Williams. I have three children and a husband who is currently unemployed but actively supports me in my business.
I joined MUNAFA in 2021 with an initial loan of 1,000 SLE ($37). Thanks to my regular repayments, I have been able to gradually obtain larger amounts, and today I have reached my 15th loan, for a total of 18,000 SLE ($660).
With this support, I was able to buy a popcorn machine and a refrigerator, and expand my shop. I attract more customers and have significantly increased my sales.
Growing through savings and training
Thanks to my business, my family lives better and I can finance my children's education and healthcare.
MUNAFA taught me how to save and manage my business rigorously. Today, I am proud to have diversified my business and to be able to dream even bigger.
A future focused on growth
I want to continue growing my business, and I would like MUNAFA to raise the loan ceiling even further so that we female entrepreneurs can go even further.
