An accelerated training code academy, with excellence, non-profit, that enables high-quality education for people in situations of vulnerability, talent for the IT area, focusing on the expansion of female and minority participation, in search of an opportunity to transform their reality. The project foresees the remuneration of these people to allow their full dedication during the training, working on real projects in direct connection with companies and the labor market.
Brazil has 13.4M unemployed, people in vulnerability are the most affected, black women and minorities represent an increase of 1.5 percentage point in statistics. Research by KornFerry Institute shows that the technology industries are in a 1.1M deficit of skilled workers worldwide. It is in this context that Alpha EdTech brings the opportunity for society to strengthen people, with gender equity, race, and ethnicity, in the direction of their lives, enabling social mobility through technology.
Alpha Edtech aims to train vulnerable youth and adults as developers, giving access not only to quality education but also by connecting them to the job market. Through an extensive selection process, the idea is to focus on promoting gender equality, expanding the participation of these people in the IT technology market. It is an initiative that involves people, companies, and institutions through the democratization of knowledge in a large network of transformation.
Technical and vocational education for 80 young people and adults. In addition to ensuring quality technical training, the project aims to employ students in technology areas in companies of different segments. Without distinction of gender, race, sexual orientation, or ethnicity, since the selection process, we believe that this is an important path to effective social mobility.
