The Small Business Support for 350 Adults in Borno project is focused on promoting economic recovery and self-reliance among vulnerable adults, particularly women and displaced persons affected by conflict. The project has a total funding goal of $44,000, which is intended to cover business and financial literacy training, startup grants or business tools, mentorship, and ongoing monitoring for 350 beneficiaries. At the time of this report, the project has $44,000 remaining and 0 recorded donors, indicating that fundraising and financial mobilization remain the immediate priority. No project funds have yet been recorded as raised through the GlobalGiving campaign. Securing the required funding will enable the Foundation to begin implementing the planned training and provide beneficiaries with the startup resources needed to establish or rebuild small businesses. Once funded, the project is expected to support income generation, improve household stability, reduce dependence on humanitarian assistance, and contribute to sustainable economic recovery in Borno State.
