Happy life back in the wild Selma and friends!

By rudianto sembiring | project leader

Selma, a female slow loris who was rescued 1 month ago by BKSDA and ISCP when Selma was handed over by a villager in Sibolangit district. She was tied with ropes and kept as pets. Her neck was injured, but after examination and medical treatment, healed during rehabilitation at ISCP. Selma's behavior was monitored in a pre-release enclosure manually and also through camera traps that were good and healthy again.

And the 3 male slow lorises we named with the North Sumatra BKSDA, namely: Kuat, Hotman and Panut were rehabilitated at the BKSDA TWA Animal Rescue Center (PPS) Sibolangit. The male 2 male slow loris was handed over from Binjai City, 1 male individual from Bukit lawang village via the Call Center, Quick Response of the North Sumatra Natural Resources Conservation Center (BKSDA-SU) and 1 individual woman handed over the rehabilitated Sala Bulan villagers at Yayasan ISCP rehabilitation center

And yesterday on March 5, 1920 after 4 slow lorises were marked by inserting a microchip, they were safely released back into the wild, in the forests of Sumatra.

We would like to thank the North Sumatra BKSDA and all our individual donors from GlobalGiving which we did not mention one by one and also all the supporters and friends of Kukang ISCP.

In fundraising in GlobalGiving we are still asking for donation xx support from friends so that we can immediately develop the clinic at the ISCP Sumatran Slow Loris rehabilitation center.

Thank you and greetings from us
