Because of socialization and awareness about wildlife that are protected by law, our friends of the East Aceh Resort BKSDA(Natural Resource Conservation Center) and supported by ISCP. On March 19th/2024, on his own behalf, a resident of Matang Ara Jawa village, Manyak Payed sub-district, East Aceh district handed over 1 male Sumatran slow loris, in good health.
Due to the fact that the slow loris was recently caught and kept by the residents and the slow loris is still healthy and still behaves wildly, the slow loris was released again in a forest area in East Aceh which is far from residential areas on the afternoon of Wednesday March 20th/ 2024.
We would like said thank you very much to the BKSDA of the East Aceh resort and all good people ,specially to all individual donors from GlobalGiving too who care about slow lorises and other wildlife.
Warm regards
