4 individuals of Sumatran slow loris, including a pair of Sumatran slow lorises and their cub from the handovered of residents, as well as 1 individual slow loris from the results of a planned sale of protected animals on social media rescued/confiscated, were returned to their habitat in the conservation forest area of Central Aceh by the BKSDA Resort Central Aceh team together with ISCP volunteers representing Aceh on Sunday evening, October 24, 2021. And for the suspect who trade online 1 individual slow loris was given a statement letter or penalty not to repeat the buying and selling of animals and confinement for 2 days at the resort officer's office.
Goodbye Friend!! Hope you continue to breed once you return to your home in the wild!! https://ezgif.com/video-to-gif/ezgif-6-c040baa4f838.mp4

It's not useless to report, 3 individual slow lorises were saved from illegal kept as a pet and 1 individual was saved from a plan to sell protected animals on social media !!!
Thanks to reports from residents 2 days ago via whatsapp to ISCP volunteers representing Aceh to be followed up and then the report was forwarded in coordination with the BKSDA Central Aceh resort, plus a previous investigation on the online trade protected animals on social media of 1 individual Sumatran slow loris in Aceh 3 days earlier then on 23 October 2021 the BKSDA team at the Central Aceh resort accompanied by representatives of the ISCP Aceh volunteers received hand over a pair Sumatran slow lorises and their cub, as well as 1 individual slow loris from the results of online investigations of social media from residents in two different locations in Pante Raya village Wih Pesam sub-district, Bener Meriah Regency, which has kept illegal a pair Sumatran slow lorises and their cubs who have only been kept for 2 weeks which the slowlorises were captured before from a secondary forest area in the Fajar Harapan Village area,Timang Gajah sub-district,central Aceh , and continued rescued including 1 male Sumatran slow loris from the village of Uning Bersah, Bukit sub-district, Benar Meriah Regency which plan to sell protected animals on social media.
Meanwhile the animals have been secured by officers and because the slow lorises are still new and still have wild behaviour, they will be released into the wild as soon as possible.
We said thank you very much to all good people,BKSDA Aceh, friends of ISCP,GlobalGivig Individual donors and all supporters who already support and help us continue save slow lorises and other wildlife .

ISCP friends and all good #GlobalGiving donors, we inform you of the results of the ISCP Rescue & Release meta data for slow lorises and other wildlife from 2016 to October 2021, which lorises and other wildlife were confiscated by the Natural Resources Conservation Center together with YPKSI /ISCP. and also cooperate with other local NGOs on the trade in wildlife and slow lorises that are kept as pets. Hopefully by sharing this information,we could work even harder in saving slow lorises and other wildlife in Sumatra in particular and in Indonesia in general.
This is one of our plans in the future to move to a new location by renting new land or if funds allow from the help of friends ISCP will buy land with a good location for a slow loris & other wildlife rehabilitation center where the current location is only 1 hectare accompanied by with an extreme location with a slope of almost 60-70 degrees which is very risky for high natural disaster disturbances.
For this reason, ISCP friends and donors, be it weekly donors, monthly donors or donors who voluntarily donate through our fundraiser, which is at the link: https://www.globalgiving.org/projects/slowlorisandwildlifenewrehabilitationcenter/
We really hope that all of our friends can continue to set aside a little fortune to continue to donate so that the goal of building a slow loris and other wildlife rehabilitation center in a new location can be achieved soon...Amen
Finally, we thank you very much for your support and donations, without your support in our work to save slow lorises and other wildlife, we or ISCP would be nothing.
Nature and God bless you all.. Amen..
Warm regards
