Anju (not her real name0 is about 33 years old married lady and a single parent. She is from a very poor family. Her parents were daily labourer and they have five children. Thye married Anju to a youngman 7 years ago. After 5 years of violent and atrocious married life, Anju was divorced by her husband. She has no other alternative to go to her parents home but there also she faced mental torture by her brothers and their wives. Finding no other alternative she left their home and residing in a tiny thatched house on rent. She is working as a domestic help in nearby houses. When she came to know about Ruchika's free skill development training program, she joined in Tailoring trade. After completing the training, she got rehabilitation kits from Ruchika to start her own enterprise. She has bought a sewing machine and stitching clothes and earning around 5000 rupees per month. She is now able to send her daughter to school. She is also selling new clothes from her home. Anju is very brave and fought with her problems and become a winner at last.
