Reeta (not her real name) is around 25 years old woman from Puri district married to Sambhu (not his real name) of Bhubaneswar. After marriage she was blessed with two daughters but her in-laws and husband always tortured her both physically and mentally for giving birth to daughters. One day she was subjected to extreme violence and forced to leave her husband’s house. She’s now residing in her parents’ house. She came know about the skill development training program of Ruchika and joined the tailoring and dress making trade. Within one year, she became master in stitching. She wanted to open her own shop and Ruchika helped her by giving a sewing machine and rehabilitation kit. Now she is running her own dress making shop and earning handsomely to manage the family and also supporting her children’s education. She is very happy now.
