Sijonge Kuwe Youth Development Project has been active this period as usual.This report records activities for the period July to November 2o23.
Art/Culture Job Creation and Poverty Alleviation Project
14 People were trained in Art/Culture on how to make beads and traditional wares.
10 People completed Basic Business Skills Training which is a two week course on how to run a business.
15 Communty Entrepreneurs were counselled on Business Plan,Costing & pricing,Marketing,Record Keeping and on how to tender.
Food Gardening Project
This is a pilot project that was started in September this year and more people are interested in this project.6 Households were assisted with start up kit to start to grow vegetables in their homes.These people attended food gardening skills training as well as business skills training.
The aim of Sijonge Kuwe Project is to fight unemployment and poverty amongs our communities of Khayelitsha and surrounding areas.
