We at the Rotary Club of Halstead and the Halstead Day Centre are truly amazed at the support we are receiving from our donors and GlobalGiving. This continued support has helped the Centre to provide a desperately needed service to the elderly residents of Halstead and the surrounding villages.

In these difficult times, not only caused by the pandemic but now with high inflation, the Centre is even more reliant on the generosity of people like our donors and GlobalGiving. So a very big thank you to all please continue to support this worthwhile cause.

The Rotary Club of Halstead has supported the Halstead Day Centre over many years in the past and will continue to support the Centre in any way it can.

Both the Rotary Club of Halstead and the Halstead Day Centre are extremely grateful for the continued support we are receiving through GlobalGiving. This support has been a lifeline which has enabled the Day Centre to remain viable through these difficult times and a very big thank you goes out to all our donors from both the staff and members of the Day Centre and the Rotary Club of Halstead.

The running costs associated with the Centre continue to rise more than ever and it now relies on support from the public and other charities in order to cover its costs.

The Day Centre has always been prudent in our spending, but, the Pandemic has put a huge financial strain on all charities not just The Centre. We always strive to keep The Centre running and provide older people with a haven where they can come to and mix with others from their own generation. The Centre have tightened our belts accordingly to justify every penny spent through GlobalGiving and we are most grateful to all those people that donated and The Halstead Rotarian’s for helping us in so many ways.

The support received through GlobalGiving throughout the pandemic and post pandemic has been truly amazing and a very big thank you goes out to all our donors from both the staff and members of the Day Centre and the Rotary Club of Halstead. Without this support the Halstead Day Centre would have struggled to survive over the last two years.

Like everyone the Centre is experiencing rising costs and therefore will be grateful for all the support received in the future. Despite these difficulties The Centre is now slowly getting back to be fully operational but there is still a long way to go.

The Day Centre is now operational three days a week, this is thanks to the support received from our donors through GlobalGiving. Without this support that has been received throughout the covid19 pandemic, it is highly likely that the Halstead Day Centre would not have survived. A very big thank you to all our donors and to GlobalGiving for making this possible.

The number of clients of the Day Centre is growing and it is hoped that it will soon be able to be fully operational and providing the excellent service to the community that it has done in the past.

The continued support from all our donors has provided much needed lifeline since the launch of this GlobalGiving initiative. Both the members of the Rotary Club of Halstead and the staff of the Halstead Day Centre wish to thank everyone that has continued to contribute to this project.

Though the task of recovering from the effects of the pandemic is far from complete the Centre staff are pleased that the work of the Centre is gradually returning to its normal operating times and the number of members using the facility on a regular basis is getting back to the pre-covid level.
