At COP30, Sinal do Vale took a concrete step to turn political visibility into lasting action for the biological corridor in its territory. Building on years of grassroots organizing and women-led territorial stewardship, the organization formally proposed the launch of an Advisory & Technical Assistance Hub as a practical next phase of its work. Presented to public officials, partners, and funders at the conference, the Hub was introduced as a bridge between high-level climate commitments and the daily realities faced by local Guardians of territories on the ground.
The Hub was framed as a solution-oriented mechanism designed to help Guardians gain real access to public policies, financing, and markets that support forest-based livelihoods. Ultimately, SINAL seeks to strengthen its biological corridor and, in parallel, replicate its impact by sharing best practice with likeminded territories.
Thank you to all our donors for believing in our long term vision and stay tuned to for more stories on how we keep articulating and working on the ground, in parallel, to protect our forest!
