Sujawal is one of the poorest districts in Pakistan and has the highest prevalence of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs). These PWDs suffer at the hands of societal negligence which affects their well-being, education and employment opportunities.
NOWPDP’s Center of Excellence in Sujawal, Sindh provides vocational training to adults with disabilities in the trades of Stitching, Graphic Designing, Basic Computer and JAWS, and more. Our most famous trade is the Stitching one which equips our trainees to become skilled and strive towards independence.
Last time, with your help we were able to provide a brand new sewing machine to our trainee with a physical disability. Thanks to your assistance, she has now started earning a livelihood by stitching clothes for her family members, friends and neighbors!
We would like to take a moment to appreciate your support for being a well-wisher of NOWPDP. Seeing success stories from our trainees and watching them transform their lives to become independent is one of our main goals. We hope that you will continue to support us in our mission to transform the lives of PWDs in Sujawal and provide sewing machines to not one, but at least 20 more of our trainees!
