By BUGINGO Emmanuel | Project Leader
Dear friends, supporters and donors!
It's my great honor tto share with you through this report, the progress of our beloved project: "Sewing for hope".
Despite a lack of necessary materials, women stayed focussed and detrmined. They have been using the available equipment to keep the project going on.
As a recall, a total of 45 sewing machines is needed, we are gareteful howver, that a total of 13 has been acquired and there's a hope to acquire the remaining 28 sewing machines thanks to your generous support.
Despite the limited equipment, the 45 woman and girls from the Historically Marginalised People, are working hard to use the acquired skills in modern sewing to produce local made fabrics. The most interesting aspect in all of that, is that they had started market assesment to potentially start produceing fabrices that are locally needed. This is a great indication of a community resilient to move forward and together.
Thanks to your usual support, we shall get there
Thank you
