By Emmanuel BUGINGO | Project Leader
Dear friends and supporters,
I’m grateful to share with you this report to update you on how is going this campaign to raise funds to invest 45 marginalised women in modern sewing.
As previously reported, during the 1st three months, the project raised over Rwf 1,010,000 which was paid to the supplier of the sewing machines. As these machines were due to be imported, it took a bit longer for them to get here. Right now, I’m happy to inform you that these five sewing machines have finally landed and are waiting for the customs clearance.
Dear friends and supporters, your generosity didn’t end by there, because in the following three months, you also supported us with another RWF 540,000. Having this amount when the sewing machines have arrived is a windfall for us as we’re going to use this money to buy “first” sewing raw materials. With this, at least five women will soon start the professional modern sewing. Wait for the 1st pictures very soon.
Dear friends and supporters, seeing how you’re always around to support us, give us a living hope for future of this project
Once more thank you very much for your usual support
