By Emmanuel BUGINGO | Project Leader
Dear friends and supporters,
It'is with a great pleasure that I'm here to share with you how we have been working since we launched this campaign with the aim of raising funds to support 45 marginalised women to invest in modern sewing.
We're very grateful and appreciative for how you did support us by giving to this project " Sewing for Hope". Today as highlighted in our bank report, a total of Rwf 1,010,000 has been paid onto our bank account. To leanr that people from across the word are understanding their cause, has rose another hope for them that one day they will be able to work for their economic growth.
With this report, allow me to inform you that, the ongoing prices increament all over the world is likely to affect our initial target. In fact, this has even impacted on import of sewing machines thus we have to place order and wait. Also, the price of one sewing machine initially budget for $150, has increased to $180. This implies that thanks to the money you rose for the project, we have order 5 sewing machines instead of 10 ( per the budgeted cost).
Dear friends and supporters, we believe that these machines will be a great asset for our women to start work and produce.
Once more thank you very much for you usual support
