By The Sew Bee-Cause Foundation Team | Project Co-Ordinator
During this reporting period, The Sew Bee-Cause Foundation successfully delivered the Sew Empowered, Nepal training programme, providing Angel Wings© reusable sanitary pad kits and menstrual health education to women and girls in Nepal. This mission was carried out as planned through strong local collaboration and careful logistical coordination, ensuring materials and training reached communities where access to menstrual health resources remains limited.
The Angel Wings© Kits distributed during this mission were designed to support dignity, comfort, and continued participation in daily life, including education and work. Alongside distribution, menstrual health and hygiene education helped address stigma, improve understanding, and empower participants with practical knowledge to manage their health confidently.
While this project received limited funding through GlobalGiving, the mission itself was made possible through a significant sponsorship from a partnership and self-funding by The Sew Bee-Cause Foundation, reflecting our commitment to ensuring that critical work moves forward even when fundraising timelines do not align with community needs. Contributions raised through this project remain allocated to support Angel Wings© programming and future related activities, helping to sustain and build on the impact of this completed mission.
With gratitude,
The Sew Bee-Cause Foundation Team
