The FAF Board has passed a budget of $7150 for 2012. The goal for the Anthony Salazar Fund, which is used for emergencies, is $1500. During 2011 we spent $500 of this emergency fund on high school tuition for teens in The Good Samaritan Children's Home in addition to the money sent through GlobalGiving. This year the Salazar Fund Drive is set for the month of December.
FAF raises money throughout the year in a variety of ways. During 2012 we hope to raise $1000 through sales of textile items and another $1000 from garage sales.
The Goal we set to raise through GlobalGiving projects 6163 and 7377 is $3000 in 2012. Through your help we hope to surpass our goals.
In 2010 we sent $10,000 to The Good Samaritan Children's Home and Women Fighting AIDS in Kenya.
