Emanuel needs a Safe Home

Emmanuel now has a chance at life
Emmanuel now has a chance at life

Dear Supporters,

We’re so happy to share that the children we’ve sent to boarding school—Hussein, Joseph, and Saumu—are thriving. They are finally experiencing stability: three meals a day, clean beds, qualified teachers, and a safe environment where they can focus on learning and simply being children. The change in their moods, health, and confidence has been beautiful to witness. They are smiling more, working hard in school, and discovering a sense of peace and hope.

This transformation is especially meaningful given the difficult home environments they came from—marked by poverty, instability, and in some cases, neglect and abuse. Boarding school has given them more than an education; it has given them a second chance at childhood.

Now, it’s time to send Emmanuel. He is a bright and thoughtful boy who has endured significant hardship and instability at home. Despite everything, he continues to show resilience and a deep desire to learn. We believe that with the same opportunity given to Hussein, Joseph, and Saumu, Emmanuel and others will flourish in every way—emotionally, spiritually, and academically.

Looking ahead, we know this is just the beginning. We will need to send Hussein, Joseph, and Saumu back to school next year and also prepare to support more children who desperately need this kind of safe, structured, and loving environment.

Thank you for walking with us and making these life-changing moments possible. Together, we are building a future full of hope.

Here is a video we took of our children going to school for the first time—it captures their joy and excitement beautifully. YouTube Video of Boarding School Children
