Transforming Lives: Opening a Boarding School

By Paula Chomba | Chairman and Project Leader

Naomi needs your help
Naomi needs your help

Naomi, like millions of other children, falls victim to sexual and physical abuse every year. Shockingly, statistics show that 28% of girls and 13% of boys suffer from this devastating issue. That means approximately one in four girls face this horrendous situation. How can we expect these innocent children to focus on their education and enjoy their childhood when their lives are consumed by fear? Sadly, many end up on the streets, exposed to further abuse. To address this urgent problem, we have devised a comprehensive solution – the establishment of our own boarding school specifically designed to provide security and stability to these vulnerable children. With your support, they will have the opportunity to break free from the vicious cycle of poverty and abuse, ultimately building a brighter future for themselves. By joining forces with us, you can profoundly impact lives, just like Naomi's, forever.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all our generous donors for their immense support in providing educational opportunities. Through your contributions, we have been able to assist Naomi and the other children in preparing for their upcoming national exams. Our dedicated Academic Supervisor has been working diligently with them on a weekly basis, ensuring that they receive the necessary guidance to achieve positive academic outcomes.

While we continue to strive towards our fundraising goal to send Naomi to a boarding school, we have taken immediate measures to ensure her living situation remains secure. With the help of other family members, Naomi is temporarily safe from her abuser.

Your continued support is instrumental in empowering Naomi and other children like her to overcome hurdles and regain a sense of normalcy. By providing them with a stable living situation at a boarding school, you are paving a path for their successful return to school and unlocking a world of educational opportunities. Once again, we extend our deepest thanks for your unwavering commitment to our cause. Your contributions are making a lasting impact on the lives of these incredible young individuals, allowing them to unlock their full potential and create a brighter future for themselves. Together, we are making a difference in their lives and breaking the cycle of poverty.
